Bio

James Dubuisson
I spent 9 years as a student and college minister in the local church. As is expected in serving in smaller churches, I wore many hats. I had the opportunity to develop my knowledge of technology that is used in the church today. Additionally, I have spent significant time taking photos and making videos for churches and my own personal use.
Academically, I received an MA in Christian Apologetics from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and an MA in Communication Studies from The University of Alabama. While at NOBTS, I focused on the hard questions that Christians and non-Christians ask about our Creator. At Alabama, I spent time as a Public Speaking instructor and published a thesis focused on how credibility is created as a speaker.
I have stepped out of vocational ministry for a season to become an instructor in the Culverhouse School of Business at The University of Alabama. But my pastor told me before I left my last church, “James, if you were called to the ministry, then you will never truly leave it.” And that is why I am seeking opportunities to speak at church events and to come alongside churches to help them behind-the-scenes. At the very least, I would love to connect with you and pray for you.
